Is WHOIS privacy really free?
Yes, on every extension whose registry permits it. Some country-code registries publish registrant data by policy and privacy cannot be applied there — the extension page says so before you buy.
What happens when the domain renews?
The renewal price is shown next to the registration price before you pay, and again on the invoice. Auto-renew is on by default and can be switched off from the client area.
Can I transfer a domain in?
Yes. Unlock it at your current registrar, get the auth code, and start the transfer. The transfer fee adds a full year to whatever time is left, so nothing is lost.
Do I have to host the site with you?
No. A domain works on its own, with our DNS or someone else's nameservers. Hosting and domains are billed separately.
